Portfolio - Shapiro Fine Art, Derek Shapiro Artist

Derek Shapiro is an artist based in Staffordshire. He began is career as a freehand painter in the prestige department of Coalport China in Staffordshire, part of the world famous Wedgwood Group and was made responsible for producing a broad range of subjects and historic editions. Derek now runs is own studio and gallery and welcomes both private and commercial commissions. His latest commission has been paint studies of wildlife for Project Gateway, a charity based in South Africa.

Derek's site redesign by Moonlighting Web focused on providing functional and attractive navigation through is site which hint at aspects of his work. The site was restructured and new galleries were created to showcase his work without the distraction of layout of the main site. The site layouts and content was crafted carefully to show Derek's art whilst making the site both search engine and user friendly.
