Success for local competitors at National
final of public speaking competition
Following a competition of exceptionally high quality, held in front of an
audience of over 150 people at the David Lloyd Centre in Nottingham, Lucy Johnson
from Biddulph High School, was crowned as Junior Champion of the Junior Chamber
International (JCI) UK Schools Public Speaking Competition 2004. Also competing
was local senior champion, Hannah Paul of St Dominic’s
